Women Entrepreneur Excellence Award by SCWEC
Freidnship’s ED Runa Khan awarded the Prestigious SCWEC Women Entrepreneur Excellence Award 2010 in Chennai, India. The award ceremony was held on the last day of a three-day gala event Global Green Business Summit and Exhibition held on 27 and 28 November in GRT Convention Centre in Chennai. The chief focus of the summit was to promote and showcase green business and innovative enterprises by women entrepreneurs of the eight SAARC countries.
The chief guest at the ceremony was Mr. Annisul Huq, President, SAARC Chamber of Commerce & Industry, while there were a number of guests of honour including Ms. Vinita Singhania, Managing Director of JK Lakshmi Cement, and Mr. Andrew Simkin, Consul General of US Embassy.
