Field Staff:  We have about 252 people on the ground who are the backbone of our work.  They are all the teachers at Friendship schools, the trainers at the vocational schools, the Friendship Community Medics, the paramedics who travel to different chars, program organizer and supervisors (livelihood). The field staffs are the ones who through their work ensure that all our planned activities such as conducting satellite clinics on time, and enabling students to complete their curriculum, are carried out in a timely fashion.  They usually report to the regional office staff.

The Staff at LFH and EFH: Resident doctors, medical assistants, paramedics, nurses, pathologist, radiologist, dental technician, eye technician, midwife, ship master & crews and a fleet of support staff are on each of our two ships at any given time.  The ships normally docks at a char in the northern part of the country. Both ships, along with the full-time staff, see a constant flow of volunteer doctors – local and foreign – who come to provide primarily secondary health care such as surgical procedures to patients from the area and afar.

Regional Offices: we have a number of regional offices with the main office for our work in the Northern and the Southern regions of the country.  There are 159 people currently working in all our field offices combined.  The staffs in our regional offices overlook the field level activities, working in direct supervisory capacity.

HO: The Head Office of Friendship located in Dhaka, works largely in a coordinative and supportive capacity.  The different professional staff coordinate the activities of the regional offices, monitors progress in the field level, prepares reports of projects based on information of activities carried out in the field, manages information, coordinates external relations and overlook the finances and general administrative activities of Friendship.
