 | Adult Surgery Camp Friendship is organizing an Adult Surgery for the deprived Nomad Island (char) people of the river Jamuna from 15th November to 21st November, 2008. Specially Hernia and Hydrocyl patients will attend the camp. Doctor from HumaniTerra International of France is attending the camp. The team includes Dr. Dominique PEREZ, Alain RENAUD, Marie Christine CAMPANA and Carine COLLINSE. During the camp, Friendship will provide free trawler for patients. Friendship will also arrange food and lodging for camp attending patients. Already 50 patients are registered for the camp.  | Eye Surgery Camp in October, 2008 On 13th and 14th October, Friendship is going to arrange the first Eye camp of this month. Dr. AKM Mamunur Rashid will attend the camp as the surgeon. 75 cataract patients have already been registered with the camp. This surgery is totally free of cost. The camp will conduct at Dr. Henk Dental unit of Lifebuoy Friendship Hospital. This is a full free secondary health care service for the poorest of the poor char people.  | Eye Camp on 25 September Friendship organizes regular Eye camp which is more than twice in a month for the poor char people of the river Jamuna through its Lifebuoy Friendship Hospital (LFH). At LFH, 3173 Cataract surgery have been successfully done by foreign and local specialist doctors’ science 2002 to till date.  | Emergency Management Training on Emergency Management (Medicine) has been started on 6th July at Gaibandha with the collaboration of Help Doctors, France for the paramedic staff of Friendship. The training will continue up to 13th July 2008. Dr Anne GRAGUERE, MD of Help Doctors is conducting the training session. This training is organized in two parts; at first part a Training of Disaster medicine will be organized by Help doctors and in the second part, Friendship will organize its own training courses for their staff, under Help Doctors support. This training will be set up for 4 weeks in 1 year and divided in 3 weeks of full time course and 1 week of supervision.  | Friendship Community Medic Training Training on Friendship Community Medic started from 26 th of January, 2008. It's a 6 days training finish on 31 st of January, 2008. Ten participants from ten different chars of Gaibandha and Kurigram district of Bangladesh are attending the training session. Peoples Health Center is organizing the training. Dr. Fakir Anjuman Ara Inaugurated the training. On 31 st January, the course completion and certificate giving ceremony will be held in Peoples Health Center at Savar.
